The Government has announced that the current Disability Living Allowance will be replaced by the PIP scheme in the UK.
These major changes to disability benefits for new claimants are going to be firstly introduced in the north of England throughout April.
Although itís clear that itíll be two years before most of the 3.3 million existing claimants begin moving over to PIP, disability charity Scope says 600,000 people will eventually lose their financial support.
Currently, Government funded schemes like the Mobility Allowance are still available for use. Which, from the popularity of this scheme, is a lifeline for the disabled.
How do you feel about these current changes in the Government's disability allowance? Most importantly, how will this impact your current financial situation?
