Ceilling Hoist Slings

Have tried a couple of slings supplied by my occupational thearapist made by Caricare hoists and slings, available from:

Nopac Healthcare Services LTD
The Stable
Hammonds Farm
Stapleford Road
Stapleford Abbotts
Essex
RM4 1RR
Tel 01708 688695.

I found that the slings that suited me better were ones that came higher up my back, but on this thinner material, it pulled into my groin when my legs straightened. I preferred this one because it supported my back better due to the weakness with my trunk. This was just my opinion!

Recently I have been supplied with a two-piece sling, which I have found to be very good, as it is quicker to remove and putting my weight onto the leg sling, I am able to lower myself comfortably onto the seat of my trike.

Less likelihood of me sliding off of my trike seat.
