Crossroads Carers

'This site is great! Had a real good scout through it. If this is a new site totally and written by disabled people for disabled people then maybe it might be a good idea to add Crossroads Caring for Carers to the links section.
I used to work for them and it is a fantastic organisation who provide care workers to take the place of family members to give the carers a break.
This is great for the disabled person too cos usually means they can stay at home and not have to go into respite for long periods etc. Know not everyone needs this sort of facility but for those that do it also means that you get the same person each time and not a constant stream of different girls who don't really seem to know what they are doing, great for dignity if you need personal care.
The website gives details of schemes all over the country. Contact them and let them know about it, I am sure they will be interested in such an informative site.' Thanks C.
