UK Deaf Sport
After seven years of waiting the Olympics are here in the UK!
If you're inspired by what you see at the London Games and want to become involved with Deaf sport (as a player, coach, volunteer or supporter), please contact us with your details and we'll do our best to help.
UK Deaf Sport is currently preparing for the Summer Deaflympics, which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria next summer. Here's hoping we can be inspired by Team GB's performances over the next few weeks.

UK Deaf Sport now also run a Inclusive Sport Programme
In 2011, alongside the English Federation of Disability Sport and the main National Disability Sports Organisations, UK Deaf Sport were pleased to receive National Lottery funding to enable us to support National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) to deliver more opportunities for Deaf people, through employment of an Inclusive Sports Advisor.
The overall aim of the project is to work with the National Deaf Sports Associations and a selection of National Governing Bodies of sport to get a minimum of 900 Deaf people, participating, staying & excelling in sport. We will achieve this through supporting an agreed number of priority National Governing Bodies to develop specific plans to increase deaf participation. These plans will be integrated into the English Federation of Disability Sports plans where sports align.
