Keep Kids Safe With A Personal GPS Tracking Device

Everyone knows how curious children are. One second they're by your side and in an instant they've wandered off. Let's face it; you can't watch them every second. If you had a personal GPS tracking device your kids safety wouldn't be an issue. Let's take a look at two of these devices that are available today.

Sprint provides a system for their cell phone customers called Sprint Family Locater. This system is available on any web enabled cell phone or by using your home computer. Most older kids own a cell phone today. Most parents want to be able to communicate with their kids and what better way then getting them a cell phone. The Family Locater Service provides that extra level of security that parents want for their kids.

The locater system is a permission based unit that will only allow those you authorize to access the system. It is absolutely safe and secure with password protection. No one will be able to use this system unless you give them permission.

The locater has a safety check system that will send you updates as to where your kids are at specific times. There is also an interactive locater that will send you text messages that will tell you where your kids have been. This way you can make sure your kids are where they are supposed to be.

Another great system is the Ion Kids Child Monitor and Locater. This system is great for younger children. It's recommended for children 12 years and younger. Also with this system you can monitor up to four people.

This system doesn't really rely on a GPS signal. It's actually better than a GPS system for closer range monitoring. You don't have to worry about losing the signal because of cloud cover or interference.

Your child wears a tamper proof wristband that sends a signal to your base unit. The bracelet has a strong locking device that will send a warning signal if it is removed. The base unit is only 1 1/2 inches X 6' so it's small enough to fit in your purse or pocket.

You set up a safety zone, up to 350 feet, for your kids. That way if they go beyond this distance you will be alerted. This early warning will prevent them from leaving your sight and becoming lost.

You can switch the portable base unit to find mode so you can locate your kids immediately. You can also send them a signal that tells them to return to base. This way you don't have to yell for them across a noisy playground.

This unit is also great for autistic children or adults with Alzheimer's. Autistic kids have problems with wandering off in public places. Many times they are not aware of the dangers around them.

There are no monthly service fees with this unit. The price is very affordable and it pays for itself with peace of mind and the freedom it gives kids.

Know where your kids are at all times by using a personal GPS tracking device or similar system.
